Sitting in Black and Orange near Dupont Circle, DC, eating a truffle & brie burger, at 43 minutes past 10 with 17 minutes until closing time. The workers are putting up the chairs that will be taken down tomorrow morning and the one other customer is a bearded, long-haired man with orange shoes. He keeps checking his iPhone and only stops to look at me when he comments on the sweet potato fries. The music is five times louder than it should be. They are blasting Every Time You Go Away, a song that seems out-of-place for a hip burger joint. iPhone guy finally gets a call on his cell and has to exit the place in order to hear the person on the phone and it's at this point that the music abruptly changes to Ayy Ladies. I consider any establishment that intentionally intentionally plays a song featuring Tyga after an 80s classic a fine establishment.
